Who We Are

Susan Ovington is a busy wife, volunteer, entrepreneur and most important of all a mother of two very active sons. For many years working in the service industry, Susan has gained the knowledge of being organized and learned first hand how important time management can be. She decided to follow her passion for organizing and Little Miss Neat was established in 2007. Susan is a proud member of Professional Organizers in Canada and is a volunteer Executive Committee Member with the Ottawa Chapter. Currently serving as the Chair person.  Susan played an active role in the Professional Organizers Conference in Montreal (November 2010).

In November of 2008, Susan acquired her Trained Professional Organizer Certificate with the POC in Toronto. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge of the profession she loves with others. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is also an avid scrapbooker, documenting her family’s history. During the winter month's you will usually find her in the local rinks cheering on her children's hockey teams.

Neat Tips

Setting up a Home Office.
Here are a few essentials for setting up a Home Office. First start by having a desk(appropriate height) for your laptop or desktop, a comfortable chair, good lighting and outlets for plugs and internet access. Next gather supplies such as pens, a stapler, paperclips and paper for a printer. Next figure out if you will need a filing cabinet or just a desktop accordian file. Your needs will depend on the type of work you are doing in your office.
